Opinion Needed
This is not easy for me, at ALL. It is actually horribly HARD.
We are Home with Andrew now. Happy, YES, happy! We actually could not be any happier besides being over this AWFUL jetlag. (sigh)
But blogs...hmmm.
Well ORIGINALLY I had planned to just make a combined blog and be done with it.
I actually MADE a blog already.
But,
Well,
I LOVE this blog.
It is like my child, my home, my safety, my comfort zone.
Everything I know really.
I am thinking of the lyrics from Taylor Swift's song....
And we know it's never simple never easy
Never a clean break, no one here to save me
You're the only thing I know like the back of my hand
But,
I mean they are both just so cute and now they live together.
We are finally a forever family.
Together.
It just doesn't make sense for me to have two seperate blogs right??
i don't know.
I mean this should be easy but I just LOVE "Ashton's mei mei"
It was my first blog and in my small minded opinion has become quite successful. :)
hehe.
But anyways,
So my question to you, all of my readers, is this
SHOULD I COMBINE BLOGS??

Just to Keep You All Thinking......
This will seem random but I promise by the end of this it will make some sense. lol
I love Carrie Underwood.
Love Love Love her!
She is who I want to be when I grow up...
(Childish dreams ROCK)in my opinion
Anyways, On her newest CD, Play On...Which if you are a fan is amazing.
There is a song.
Temporary Home.
It is probably my very favorite song by her (with the exception of her
cheesy cheating-boyfriend songs,) Cowboy Casanova and Undo It.
(Yeah, Yeah I like those, I know totally weird)
The lyrics that struck me were....
"Little boy, 6 years old
A little too used to bein' alone
Another new mom and dad, another school
Another house that'll never be home
When people ask him how he likes this place
He looks up and says with a smile upon his face
"This is my temporary home
It's not where I belong
Windows and rooms that I'm passin' through
This is just a stop, on the way to where I'm going
I'm not afraid because I know this is my
Temporary Home."
So sweet right?
But in truth, there is a message to this, This Earth, our life, everything we have. Is all Temporary. Nothing is going to come with us when we die. We will leave everything here.
In my opinion, not many fully and completely understand that. If they did why would they go and work, work, work, work, to never enjoy any of it? Once they die it is all just going to be a DROP of rain in a storm, It isn't going to matter. But what is going to matter is how you lived while here on this Earth. No, not how much money you had, the clothes you wore, or the car you drove. NONE of that will matter. But what will is how you treated others, if you shared Jesus and told the world about his amazing-awe-inspiring love. If you helped those in need. That will matter. So are you living like this is Temporary? Or are you making it permanent?
After all,
this world is simply
Our Temporary Home

2009 :: The Year in Review
In January we celebrated The Chinese New Year
In February we also found a new love for D!sney Princesses, but best of all.....Anna Grace got her very first hair cut!

In March a lot happened. We went to a Regional swim meet. It snowed. (that never really happens) and I took some of my very favorite pictures of Anna Grace (:
In April we celebrated our second Easter with Anna Grace!
In May we saw a sweet little boy's face......and swam. a.lot.
In June we started the Journey BACK to China for a brother!!! and went to the Beach!
In July we went to a Xiushan Reunion! and celebrated two years with Anna Grace!
In August we enjoyed our last month of summer and went to Charleston to visit Ella! and we were LID! Hayne also turned 7!
In September I started the 8th grade, Adam started 5th, and Hayne started 1st! I turned 14 and Anna Grace turned 3 ): It was a big month!
In October we had a Halloween party and celebrated Halloween!
In November we celebrated Thanksgiving and got our LOA!
In December... Wow. What a great month....We were out of school for Christmas Break, We got our Travel Dates and Christmas!! woo hoo!

SO, 2009 was a wonderful year for our family....Here is to 2010 being just as great....hopefully better! I believe it will be because Andrew is coming home!
