She is just such a precious little girl who steals the hearts of EVERYONE she meets....

In a few short days, this beautiful girl will have been in our family for THREE years. Three years ago I did not know the kind of love this precious one would show me, oh how at the age of 10 months she would teach me so much. She would bless all of our lives and change us for the better. She would teach us to love Jesus. To always Smile. To never give up. To love like crazy.
Some may say we saved her we blessed her and did a "good" thing by adopting her...
But I see it as the complete opposite...
We are the lucky Ones.

Summer Lovin'

Mr. Andrew JianHui had his very first popsicle today! HE LOVED IT. Poor Mei Mei (Anna Grace) is sick and she is not in the mood for pictures. Andrew was a mess by the time he finished the popsicle but it was too cute to not take a picture of...go ahead..take in the cuteness (:

He LOVES the Pool and Shriners

My little water bug. I fall more and more in love with this sweet boy EVERYDAY. He is such a sweet boy. He has transformed in the last 5 months into a completely different child. So funny, smart, loud, and just a different child. I adore him. He is my Love. I love him more than anyone in the world (well except AnnaGrace..it is a tie) he is my world. I cannot wait to watch him grow up and continue to watch him transform into the precious boy he is becoming.jumping into the pool
Now onto Shriners update:

God is SO good.
JianHui's palate was repaired perfectly and as of right now NO surgeries are needed. The only one they know of in his future is going to be for his speech. We are SO thankful. A child with a cleft lip and palate usually have to have tonsils and adenoids out. JianHui will have to have his out. Please keep him in your prayers. He will also have to have a sinus surgery in the future but overall his report was EXCELLENT. He also will not have to have Tubes. Such an answer to a prayer. God is GOOD and we are SO thankful. When we went back to China to adopt our precious boy, surgery was a big issue as we do not have good insurance at all. So money for this would not just come right up. It is SO amazing to know that if you are in God's will he WILL provide. No questions about it or anything. He WILL. He is faithful, always. Again, Thank you all so much for the prayers for our precious boy. they were and still will be SO appreciated. You have no idea. So here is our JianHui update... (:

Now that I have Seen....

When we went to China for Anna Grace and Andrew both it was breath-taking. My eyes were opened in SO many ways. Seeing the poverty and everything just broke my heart and pulled me to it. God opened my eyes. Sadly, when I came home I did nothing. My friend introduced me to Albertine. It is an AMAZING song. I have fallen in LOVE with it. Not only do I love the artist and the music but the words spoke VOLUMES to me. Especially the part "Now that I have seen I am responsible." Wow. I was so in love with this song I walked around singing it ALL day. Then my Mom gave me the idea to make a video of the photos from China. So I did. The pictures in this video are from AnnaGrace and Andrew's orphanage. It was amazing to relive those precious moments and such sweet faces.

Congrats, Emily!

I would like to congratulate my sweet friend Emily on her new little brother Charlie! They have waited over a year for this precious guy and I am SO excited for her! He has done so well and is giggling and smiling. They just got him today at 1:00 (So while you were sleeping) Congrats to the ENTIRE Family!

Off to Shriners

Well today was the "Big" Day. The day my parents met with surgeons to discuss what Andrew's future holds for surgeries and etc. In fact they are still there right now...SO the picture for today will be added later because I don't have one (: Please continue to pray.

We love Icees!

Icees are a favorite around here and Andrew is NO exception. Before my parents, Anna Grace, and Andrew left for Cincinnati (PLEASE PRAY!!!) we got a "treat" Icees were a hit and Andrew got Blue. Well Blue icees make for BLUE lips!
Please be praying as my parents travel with the little ones. Tomorrow the appointment is at 1:45. Please pray for a good report and that Andrew does well and understands!

Sundays are one of my favorite days
I love the lazy feel, naps in the afternoon. Church. Everything about it I love. Today has been BEAUTIFUL. The weather is perfect so a Certain Princess and I went outside for a photoshoot to soak it in! Such fun. Have I mentioned that I love this girl with every bit of me?! She is my life! She is in rare form today and is hyper, sweetly excited, and oh so ready for pictures. SO I took advantage of it. Here are my favorite shots from today!

This boy has changed soo much! He is so sweet. I love his laugh, the smile, and his ever so sweet eyes. Tonight he went swimming and learned how to jump off the diving board!
We were SO proud of our little power-ranger.
He has transformed from the little "baby" on Gotcha Day to our loving, hugging, smiling, giggling, hi-ya-ing power ranger and I just LOVE him so much! (:

Anna Grace LOVES to paint. All she wants to do is paint, draw, or color. Today we were painting and I think she did a beautiful job (:

Summer!

We all love summer around here. it is the greatest. In approximately THREE days summer will FINALLY be here. Can I get a Hallelujah?! I am so ready to be out of school. Long days at the pool, lake, beach. Oh I can't wait! It is my favorite time of year! I have posted some pictures of my friends and I during the last few days (: enjoy.
Because I have not done an update in awhile here we go::
JianHui (or Andrew) is doing ever-so well! His English has bloomed and he is so sweet. He is a Baba's Boy and when he sees my Dad coming home from work his excitement cannot be tamed. it is SO sweet. He is in love with life. Every day is a joy to him. (He makes us HAPPY too) It is amazing to think this time last year we had not started the process for him and here we are home for almost 5 months! Wow. SO crazy. He has changed our lives for the better. He decided about 3 weeks ago that he is no longer Andrew. He is JianHui. (Gin-Wii) he won't answer to anything but. It has some comedy to it but whatever makes him happy. He lived in an orphanage for over 3 years and if it makes him happy then it works for us. ((: Next Monday he and my Mom and Dad will again attempt for Shriners. Please be praying for our boy. That he will be willing with the doctors and will understand what is going on. That he will be HEALTHY and they will be able to go! Please, God? We really need to get this sweet boy to the surgeons so they can help us help him. (: Thanks for your prayers
Now on to a certain Princess
Can we say Sassy Sue? that is the child we now have in our house we so affectionately call AnnaGrace. She is a doll. Soon she will turn 4 and in a few days (21) it will be THREE years since we left for China to bring home our long awaited Princess. The time has flown. How has she gone from a 10 month old baby to an almost FOUR year old!? It is crazy to me. Oh how I love this chicka. She is my life and love. She is in love with JianHui. in LOVE. He goes NO where with out her and she won't go anywhere without him. It is precious. She is also going to Cincinnati with my Mom, Dad, and JianHui next Monday. Pray for her and her understanding.
