The Bird's Nest!!!!!!!!!!! (Still under construction!)
Today I am SO excited! The Olympics are finally here! I can't wait it will be amazing to be like "I was there" or "I saw that!" I just can't wait! When we were in China our amazing guide took us to see the "Bird's Nest" which is where the opening ceremonies will be held! I am in more shock that we have been home for over 1 year!! It is amazing how time flies! I can't believe in 30 more minutes we get to see the opening ceremonies of the Olympics! I also am excited b/c it is in Princess' home country! Hope you all enjoy Beijing 2008 Olympics!

The Opening Ceremony was amazing!
Max and I watched the opening ceremony too! I told him that you had actually seen the "Bird's Nest" in person (no doubt - with a picture to prove it)! He couldn't believe it! I honestly thought the guy running in the air was going to fall! His "hidden" wires kept popping loose! Argh! Am I the only one who saw that part?
We felt proud of Anna's home country for putting on such a fabulous show! Love you! Jodi
I know! The Fireworks were amazing! It was special knowing thats where Addie is from!! :)
We are doing the very same thing here at our house- "we were there" "we saw that!" So much fun. Loving the China coverage. And they are doing a spectacular job.

Goodness gracious!!! The olympics are everywhere!!! I have to get back into watching them. I was all into them 4 years ago. I need to tune back in! I love the pictures and how you did your name at the end of the post!
we are watching each day ... it does warm your heart to see China .. the birth country of our daughters ...it also makes me squeeze them tighter knowing that i wouldn't be able to breathe if they weren't here !!!!
